Located in East Central Saskatchewan, Parkland College is a post-secondary institution that gives students the best of both worlds — diverse educational opportunities with a learner-centered, community feel. Established in 1973 as Saskatchewan’s first regional college, Parkland College offers programming that responds to the demands of students and the needs of the region. At Parkland College, students can complete university degrees, skills training diplomas and certificates, and adult upgrading. Parkland College offers Saskatchewan’s only full-time professional firefighter training program, and the new Trades and Technology Centre in Yorkton gives students the hands-on skills for in-demand careers. Parkland College is committed to accessibility, inclusion, and diversity. In small classes, students and instructors get to know each other, often helping students to learn more easily and get better grades.
