A Flexible Learning Environment
At the Mount, we are committed to providing our students with flexible and accessible learning options. We understand that you may be working, studying full-time, or balancing the demands of your family, your career, and your education, and we’re ready to help you succeed. We welcome both full-time and part-time students.
As a full-time student, you can complete the graduate program requirements in as little as one year. Part-time students generally finish their studies in two years, but if you need a little more time, you can take up to five years to earn your Master’s degree in our on-campus programs. If you enroll in one of our off-campus cohorts, your program will take two years to complete
Our graduate programs will help you to become an educator, or prepare you to focus your existing teaching career on literary education. Graduates of our programs are working as classroom and community teachers, literacy tutors, program developers and supervisors, resource specialists, consultants, administrators, scholars, and university and college instructors.

Minimum requirements for admission to the programs are a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and related experience. A minimum average of B (GPA 3.0 or 73% equivalency on the MSVU grading scale) is required for admittance.
