The Biosphere emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science explores the interactions of microbes, plants, animals and humans with their physical and chemical environment. Students learn how to apply biological principles to biodiversity while gaining a broad understanding of habitat conservation, restoration and rehabilitation. Field experience tailored to students' interests arms them with the expertise, confidence and connections to critically evaluate and address sustainable management and remediation of the environment. The curriculum prepares students to solve environmental and human health challenges in this time of rapid ecological change.
