The Literature concentration offers a curriculum featuring critical study of literature (from ancient to contemporary) in poetry, prose, and drama.
Courses in literary theory will give students a sense of the wide variety of approaches that can be applied to the interpretation of texts. In all courses, students practice a number of different types of analytical and critical writing.
