MTSU’s School of Music offers an undergraduate major in Music leading to Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree in the following concentrations:

Instrumental Music Education majors most frequently go on to teach music in K-12 schools, leading a variety of instrumental ensembles and teaching general music courses. MTSU music alumni are also frequently accepted into graduate music programs in music education, performance, and conducting.
