Fine Art is the traditional term used to embrace painting, sculpture and printmaking, produced for its own sake and not concerned with whether it is functional or practical. Recently the term has come to include photography, video and the modern technologies that generate visual imagery.

Graduates of the fine arts programme have a variety of career options available to them, including working in art studios, advertising firms, publishing houses, manufacturing departments, product design firms, magazines, television, graphic design firms, schools, and theatre productions, to name just a few.
