This undergraduate degree is designed for students interested in rehabilitation careers such as occupational therapy or other postbaccalaureate studies and careers in health care management, health care finance, urban policy and planning or public health. Graduates can also pursue a law degree that specializes in health care, disability right law or advocacy.
A BS in rehabilitation sciences prepares students to work in health care, rehabilitation and human service positions, at private, government and nonprofit organizations. RS graduates work as clinical assistants, exercise assistants, case workers, service coordinators, vocational coordinators in health care, and other positions in rehabilitation or human services.
