Psychology is the study of mental processes and behavior. As psychology majors (designated as a pre-major), students learn about many diverse concepts including perception, cognition, emotion and personality. Other concepts include behavior, interpersonal relationships and the individual and collective unconscious. Coursework involves the application of learned concepts to spheres of human activity.
Baylor offers several Living-Learning Centers which are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together. The Science & Health Living-Learning Center is a residential option that's available for pre-health students. Students are able to collaborate with each other, science faculty and medical researchers.
