This programme is for those who want to extend their knowledge in sport and exercise science, and is designed to build on an undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience with further specialist knowledge.
Our postgraduate sports programmes focus on applied learning, are strongly industry-focused, and supported by a team of highly-skilled academic staff. Students will get to apply their learning in our purpose-built facilities.
Graduates may be employed in specialised roles in sport science research; the fitness industry; individual and team sport training and consultancy and regional and national sporting organisation positions. Example roles include strength and conditioning coach, clinical exercise physiologist, and performance analyst.
There is a growing demand for quality Strength and Conditioners from the Waikato region's sport performance community so we have developed a Postgraduate module in Strength and Conditioning.
