Nutrition Sciences is the study of food its components, and how the body handles food substances. In the Nutrition Sciences major, you will explore how nutrients, and the foods from which they are derived, aid the body in growth and development and maintain health and wellness.
Graduates can expect to find job opportunities in many fields including Sports Nutrition, Health Care, Community Nutrition Services, Eating Disorder Counseling and Weight Management. Other fields include Pharmaceutical Sales, Food Systems Management and Culinary Arts.
