The Bachelor of Music Performance in Composition and Technology is intended for undergraduate students who wish to pursue careers in composition with particular emphasis in the utilization of technology. An audition is required. Students study the compositional process in a wide range of genres including but not limited to modern music, film and television scoring, game scoring, concert and educational music, music for media, songwriting and song production, and other professional and creative fields, realizing their music primarily through virtual instrument technologies and recording studio techniques. The intended purpose of the program is to prepare students as composers for a wide range of musical applications.
The jobs roles that a BA Music graduate can hold are Recording Technician, Music Publisher, Advertising Specialist, Studio Musician, Composer/Arranger, Music Attorney.
