Course Info
As a UD Middle Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist major, you'll learn the knowledge and skills necessary to educate and support children in their transition from childhood to early adolescence. You'll specialize in two areas of concentration, choosing from mathematics, reading/language arts, science, and social studies. You'll also earn a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) certificate.
Graduates work in a variety of public and private educational settings. Many go on to earn advanced degrees or pursue careers as principals and superintendents.
