Prepare for multiple career paths in a broad field of health settings with the Master of Arts (MA) in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hofstra University. Complete your internships on campus at Hofstra’s Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic and in off-campus clinical settings. Attend full-time and complete the program in about three years. Part-time study is also available. No GRE is required, and scholarships are available for qualified candidates.
Usual goals of family therapy are improving the communication, solving family problems, understanding and handling special family situations, and creating a better functioning home environment.
