Summary

The Bachelor of Science in Management degree, with a concentration in Finance, is designed to focus on finance theory and practice. Throughout the program, students will gain the necessary skills to identify, measure, analyze, communicate, and interpret financial information. The field of finance offers a variety of career choices that include, but are not limited to: positions in investment accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, portfolio management, and risk management

Career Outcomes

Graduates with a finance concentration can obtain positions in financial services and banking. The Finance concentration also prepares graduates for jobs in other settings, including: corporate positions such as support analyst, cash analyst, financial analyst, credit analyst, risk analyst or treasury manager; government positions including budget analyst and collateral analyst; non-profit positions such as financial analyst, director of finance and program manager. In addition, graduates may pursue post-graduate financial securities licenses for securities sales and certification as a financial analyst as well as advanced degrees in finance which offer opportunities in academia such as vice president of finance and administration and finance professor.
