Summary

The Bachelor of Science in Management degree, with a concentration in Accounting, is designed to focus on accounting theory and practice. Throughout the program, students will gain the necessary skills to identify, measure, communicate, and interpret economic information. The field of accounting offers a variety of career choices that include, but are not limited to: positions in public accounting, tax preparation, management accounting, and financial consulting.

Career Outcomes

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting are employed at “Big Four” Accounting firms, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, corporations and not-for-profit organizations. They hold a variety of positions, ranging from senior tax associate, audit associate, financial analysts and managers, to corporate accountants. The program prepares students for a variety of positions in the fields of accounting, finance, academia and law enforcement; FBI and IRS Special Agents. Upon graduation, students are equipped to succeed in graduate school by earning an MBA or MSA.
