Students in the Health, Physical Education, and Movement Science programs prepare for careers as health and physical education teachers who promote wellness, fitness, motor development and competence, skill proficiency and remediation in children and adults. All undergraduate degree programs are TEAC-accredited and lead to New York State Initial Teaching Certification to teach kindergarten through grade 12. The rigorous academic programs are supplemented with extensive field experience that creatively links theory and practice.
