Master the science and art of making your clients look and feel their best as an esthetician.
You’ll study the:
• anatomy and physiology of the skin
• diseases and pharmacology
• epidemiology and nutrition.
At Lakeland your classroom is our campus spa. You’ll learn to do and practice with clients:
• manicures and pedicures including gel polish
• facials including chemical peel and microdermabrasion
• body treatments such as wraps and scrubs
• body waxing
• makeup artistry
• lash and brow tints
• relaxation/hot rock massage
You’ll use specialized skin care treatments and address beauty, anti-aging and stress issues.
Plus, you’ll develop communication and business skills as you help manage the student-managed spa. And most important, you’ll work with real clients to polish your skills.
Graduates from the esthetician program typically work as:
• health spa estheticians
• resort and cruise line estheticians
• medi-spa estheticians
• makeup artists
• entrepreneur and business owners
• product marketing representatives
• retail sales representatives
