Environmental Health Science studies the relationship between the environment and human health. This includes preventing illness by identifying and assessing hazardous agents, environmental sources and limiting exposures to chemical, physical and biological agents in air, water, soil, food and other environments that may impact human health.
Employment sectors include industry, local, state and national government agencies, international organizations and public interest groups. Graduates can also continue their education in public health, education, business or medical school.
