At the College of Engineering and Computing, our nuclear engineering students may choose degree programs that lead to the master of engineering or the master of science degree, which requires an advisor-approved thesis, as does the research-based doctoral-level Ph.D. in nuclear engineering. Although there is no undergraduate nuclear engineering degree program, we do offer a minor in nuclear engineering and an accelerated B.S. to M.S. degree for students majoring in another area of engineering who wish to complete the nuclear engineering master's degree in as little as one year beyond their bachelor of science degree. Distance education options are available through our APOGEE program.
