Fast-track your career
This program was created specifically for students who have already completed university or college programs in a related field and want to fast-track their early childhood education career. The ECE – Intensive program is of particular interest to those returning to a second career educating children or for those who have international credentials not currently recognized as equivalent to ECE.

You'll have the chance to transfer your learning into practice by completing two different field placements in a variety of settings which may include Sheridan's highly acclaimed childcare centres, before and after school care, kindergarten classrooms or other early learning settings.

When you graduate from this program, you'll be eligible to become a registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), a requirement for practice in the province of Ontario.

The ECE Intensive program offers course-based registration, which allows you to create your own timetable (based on course availability) by selecting the days/times that work best for you.
