In the digital age, the artist’s palette overflows with new opportunities for creative expression in industries that barely existed a decade ago. The 120-credit Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Design is tailored for students with strong computer and design skills who seek training in the latest technologies and the chance to transform the visual landscape of technologies yet to come.

Career Outcomes

students move through the program, they develop interests that determine which area of design they might pursue. The program includes opportunities for students to be placed at internships before they graduate. The internship program helps demystify the real-world experience of actually working professionally in the field. Students in the Digital Art and Design program have interned at SONY, NBC, Esquire Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Newsday, Time Warner, Disney, Marvel and Hearst Publications. Many students are hired after graduation by the companies that sponsor these Internships. Students also create both traditional printed and interactive portfolios of their design work, as well a self-branding portfolio Website to help them secure employment opportunities.
