Summary


This major links biology and physiology with psychophysiology and neuroimaging — and we’re the only uni in Australia that offers our research students single-site access to cutting-edge MRI and MEG technologies. You’ll learn to interpret the data generated by these machines to identify healthy brains, brain disorders and diseases of the central nervous system.

Newer topics like Developmental and Molecular Neuroscience give you a more holistic understanding of contemporary neuroscience along with Neuropsychopharmacology, which connects you with our Centre for Human Psychopharmacology.

Career Outcomes


The Bachelor of Health Science is designed to equip students with a wide range of skills, knowledge, and attributes for careers promoting health and well-being. Students will receive grounding in core sciences and then choose specialised studies in one of nine major areas: Biomedical Science, Clinical Technologies, Health Promotion, Neuroscience, Nutrition, Psychology and Forensic Science, Psychology and Psychophysiology.
