Studying in the Fine Arts Department helps students develop a critical eye of their own work as well as the work of others. Students build confidence and courage by performing and sharing their work. They also build persistence and discipline by learning from their mistakes and mastering skills. In addition, they cultivate a strong knack for dealing with the unexpected and coming up with creative solutions.

An average of "satisfactory" 70% on five academic courses on the India Senior School Certificate awarded by Central Board of Secondary Education/Indian School Certificate (awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations - CISCE). Year 12 State Board Exams with excellent results will also be considered individually. 70% Overall on 5 Academic Subjects in class XII (Physical Education Excluded from 5 Academic Subjects)
