Course Info
Animation is collaborative. Within a strong ‘studio’ culture, you’ll be encouraged to learn together with your fellow students - and students on different courses across the university - as you develop your unique animation voice. You’ll use your initiative and develop practical skills as you work on projects, from concept to final completion and distribution. You’ll also be able take full advantage of the resources available across all of our campuses, including audio recording suites, film and television studios and high-end computing spaces.
You’ll be shown how to research and come up with creative concepts and ideas for both wider audiences and niche markets, and you’ll learn how to overcome obstacles as you bring your ideas to life through the production process.
With guidance from both industry professionals and experienced tutors, you’ll learn and develop the core skills of animation, as well as more advanced skills to take your ideas to the next level.
You’ll have the opportunity to study in a wide range of locations around the world. Students from Bath School of Design have completed exchange programmes in a variety of countries including Spain, Sweden, USA, Australia, Japan, Taiwan and Italy.
